Any chance his wife is taking advantage of the situation and exaggerating the "abuse" claims?

I am sure a lot of things are exaggerated when you lose that kind of job and lose your reputation. Either way it goes, there were reports that the man was severely depressed likely on anti-depressant medication. I am sure a lot of things in both their worlds are exaggerated.

Peace

$2,000 a month for Alimony seems very reasonable from someone who is making over $100,000 a year, oh wait, he's not any more....I am betting he doesn't make it to prison...I know I wouldn't. ( sorry, I said bet...)

Former Ref Donaghy Assaulted in Prison

Tim Donaghy was attacked by another inmate claiming he had ties to the NY mob. Donaghy was threatened that he would be shot in the head and his knee caps would be broken. Donaghy suffered knee injuries that were confirmed via x-ray and an MRI taken 3-4 months after the attack. The attacker was removed from the facility and locked down in a higher level facility. The prison officials did not refer the attack to investigative authorities - they chose to handle it internally.

Cry me a river, please.

While I do not wish harm to come to any person, I have no sympathy for Tim Donaghy. He is a punk, yes, I said punk. He had the best job in the world as far as basketball officiating is concerned and he urinated on every basketball official (competent officials only) in the world.

If he were laying on the sidewalk on fire, I would spend an inordinate amount of time debating whether to urinate on him or to keep on walking.

Urinating would only help put the fire out.

Yeah, he's so shy about expressing himself.
