But in all seriousness, I'm not sure. I think this would be more of a local state association rule revision. My opinion - I don't see anything wrong with a coach being a bystander for a game involving a future opponent and recording the game that way. Is he really going to get that much better footage himself, rather than just watching the game if it is aired on the local town's cable channel? It may not be the best choice in terms of ethics or sportsmanship, but by rule I don't think there's anything against it. Most, if not all, NFHS rules deal with the 2 teams competing in the present contest...no mention of 3rd parties or future considerations. |

No matter what you think, if Team C is filming Team A & B's game, there is nothing we can do. Maybe this is something for game management, but other than that, I don't see rules that doesn't prohibits this.
