Lost one last night

Hoops Official Dies After Playoff Game

Tim was a great guy, one of the reasons I got into officiating. I'm also friends with his older son. His younger son is a senior in HS, and he has one granddaughter. I just worked with Tim last week on youth travel, and spoke to him yesterday (he was the non-HS basketball assigner, so men's rec, youth travel, et cetera) with all the weather we had this week he was juggling many rescheduled games for last night. I got a text from his son last night and I'm still trying to wrap my mind around this.

Please pray for Tim's family. Thanks.

A sad day for his family and ours. Thanks for sharing. And good luck and be safe to everyone calling tournament and playoff games.

Awful news. Way too young to die.
