20 years!

We've been out 3 1/2 days out of the past 6. Last Tuesday - schools began canceling classes at noon. Had a V game an hour away scheduled for 7:30pm. When I left work - game had not yet been cancelled. We left at 4:15 and arrived at 6:15. School locked with a note on door. AD called our homes at 5:45. He "forgot" about us. Checks would be in mail. In addition, he called the following day and rescheduled the game around our calendar - so another check is coming!

Last Friday we had a rain/ice event here in central Connecticut. My boys varsity game, just five minutes away from my work, was postponed. The makeup date was set with a new early afternoon starting time, too early for me to get out of work, so I lost the game. Luckily my commissioner gave me a new boys varsity assignment, not as close to my work, but right off the highway on my way home. Easy come, easy go.
