I'd like that too, but unfortunately PA has turned coaches "free-range" by adopting a box rule like the rest of the states.

I was inches from tripping over both JV coaches tonight on a fast break, and after the next stoppage, we had a little discussion about how they really needed to stay behind the orange line.

1. The NFHS rules book is written for VARSITY contests. Says so right in the front. So it is up to each state to decide what rules to apply to their sub-varsity games. NV treats all HS games the same rulewise.

2. PA used to make their coaches sit, but a couple of years ago adopted the coaching box.
