Hate that third set of eyes!!!!

There's something to be said about three person crews.....I was working my first 3 person in H.S. here in Utah. Visiting team is down 15 to 20 in the 4th.

Troublemaker power forward on the visiting team in transition to the home teams basket, puts his hand behind his head and give the home crowd the one finger salute.

The best part of this is that I see him look for "both" officials before he attempts it, but he forget that there is a third set of eyes on him now.

I'm 4 feet behind him when he does it. "T" Then he lies to my face about doing it. Luckily the coach didn't buy it either and benched him for the rest of the game.

Three-Person WORKS!!!!!

Great that this was caught, but I'm stunned that you didn't deem it flagrant.
I wouldn't have left this one up to the coach. The kid definitely wouldn't be playing for the rest of the game.

Not trying to knock you, but just saying that I can't think of anything more obviously an example of non-contact unacceptable behavior.

Lightbulb

That's a flagrant in my book at any level. If you only called one T, you should have called a second one for lying to you.
