budjones05, I would go to the source, such as the person assigning the league. Afaik, there are no specific "rec league rules"; each league has their own set based upon what they want to do. Some leagues use NCAA as the basis, others use NFHS; many use running clocks and those rules aren't found in either rule set. Some sponsoring bodies, such as a town's park district, may even have different rules for different leagues.

Bottom line, find out from the league sponsor or the person assigning what rules you will be using on those nights.

(Then get better so you won't have to work those games anymore... )
