(Not jumping over you, Nevada - just bored, and feel like contributing.)

#29 = 9-1-4
#36 = I agree, this one was difficult because of the last sentence in 8-1-2, but I'm 99% sure on my answer.

#29 True, I was reading to much into the question.

#36 False? Wouldn't you first have a violation on team B for not occupying the lane. After that, If team B still does not occupy the first lane spaces we would have a T prior to the 2nd free throw attempt?

There is no violation on the first attempt if it is successful.

the first attempt cannot be successful as opponents of the free thrower shall occupy the first lane space. If they are not there - an attempt cannot be made. Or am I wacco this morning?

Not during the RPP. Case book 9.1.2 is almost identical.

I wasn't aware it was following a TO or intermission so was reading my own scenario into it. On these tests - I should know better.

The test specifically says it's during the RPP.

The RPP is designed to allow the ball to become live and possibly have a violation rather than a T during certain delays. On the play in question, since the basket was made, there was no violation and no delay. Use the procedure again.

That's why I cited the penalty section as the reference in my initial response for the OP. I was trying to get him to read what the penalty is if the try is successful without directly telling him the answer.

You are 0-2 in the past five minutes. Either you don't understand these rules very well or you are purposely trying to give people the wrong answers. If it's the latter, that may not be a bad idea considering some of the folks who fish for answers here.
