Tonight was supposed to be my first game. Yesterday, just after lunch, my assignor called...a coach called him panicing...they added a JV game after they submitted their schedule to him...needed officials badly.

I started to turn it down as it would mean I had to return to the office after the game to take care of something then suddenly realized it is always a good idea to help you assignor out of a tight spot and make him look like a hero to a coach.

In Michigan, HS basketball games cannot start until AFTER Dec. 2 or so. So...I have a MONTH between girls Jr Hi and the High school season (with Jr Hi boys in it as well). Good time to work out more and get in better shape!

I have a game and a half to start the season off tonight!! (1 varsity then 2 quarters of a JV) Ready to go!!!!!

I think we should start another stretching post. I take my yoga mat court side for the 15 minutes till tip off. A little meditating never hurt anybody!

Friday Friday Friday!!!!!!! Friday night is my first night. My wife makes fun of me for already having my uniform in my garment bag, I have polished my shoes 3 times, and have been reading my case book for the past 2 months every night before bed. She just doesn't get it. I can't wait.
