Good luck to you all that have games tonight. My game in South Georgia might have one of the feeder bands of Frances dump some rain on us. I am lucky enough to have the marquee game of the week in Georgia according to the Atlanta Journal & Constitution. The 2nd highest ranked DE in the nation will be in this game.

Have fun down there! Hopefully, I'm far enough north so that I won't have to worry about it.

I've got Jenkins Co v. Warren Co. for my first ever varsity contest on the field. As soon as the clock hits 0:00 I'll be on my way to Athens to watch GSU @ UGA (I'm a Georgia Southern student). My friends were cracking on me because I was more excited about tonight than I was about the UGA game. All the hard work finally pays off tonight...

I imagine most games in the Sunshine state were cancelled. If you're brave enough to be on the field tonight in Florida, stay safe on the roads and keep your families safe this weekend! Your neighbors to the North will be praying for you!!!

32-7 tonight. Two small schools, but I had fun as always.

Lots of cramping in the humidity -- summer finally found southern Wisconsin.

Not much to report tonight, except we ended up going about 2:45 because of all the injuries -- all cramps except the first and last which both brought EMTs on the field. Second one was a neck injury that brought the ambulance on the field for precautionary measures.

On paper last night we thought there could be a running clock due to a blowout, but they then played the game and it was a 44-28 game. All touchdowns were scoring plays of 30 yards or more. After the game I had a bottle of water, a half a can of pop, and then another two bottles of water. I didn't cramp, but man, a VERY humid night. I was subbing for a crew last night at LJ. I was tired, but it was a very fun night!
