In a move to match the lack of class which the Yankees have displayed lately (see the lowball contract offered to Torre), AR declares that he is opting out on the very day that Red Sox win it all. (BTW JR why do think that the front office of the Yankees deserves classy treatment?)
He and his agent can't even let the focus be on the team that won the WS for a single day. Here's thinking that Cuban will purchase the Cubs and then purchase AR for Chicago.
