Well I must say that I left home (on Friday) around the 7th inning when I believe the score was 6-2...or something like that. After reading Chuck's post I had to go look up Friday's scores because I didn't believe him!

Really rare feat
Good work by the Boston Globe to figure out, with the help of three mathematicians, the precise extent of the rarity that happened when the Red Sox hit four consecutive home runs Sunday.
Outfielder J.D. Drew hit the second of the four, just as he did last September for the Dodgers. To have any team hitting four consecutive home runs is rare enough, but to have the same player hit the second home run for both teams, well, just how rare is that?
One in 14.3 million was the answer.
But it happened.

I would have said the probability is 100%, since it's never happened any other way.

Marlins pitcher Dontrelle Willis' wife gave birth to a baby yesterday. ESPN.com had run a poll asking if pro athletes should work on the day their children are born. Over 70% responded that they should not.

Added the SportsCenter anchor, "90% also said that Dontrelle should name the new baby 'Whatchu talkin' 'bout' ".
