The only question I have is this......

Whose country?

Mark Dexter Sat Apr 21, 2007 09:17am

I think it's OUR country, Gap, but I'll have to wait for FOX to run the commercial 28 times this afternoon before I can be sure.

I turned off the Sox/Yanks on Friday night after about the 6th inning. I got in a car and started driving home from Florida with my family. When I finally got into the NY area Saturday afternoon, I picked up the Saturday game on 880 AM. Susan Waldman was talking about second-guessing the Friday night game and how that play was the changing point in the game. And I'm thinking, jeez, they're talking like the Sox came back, but there's no way. . .

Sure made the last 4 hours of my drive go by easier. :D

Well, well, Mr. Annoying Spelling Guy, I believe she does not use that spelling for her first name. ;)

1) How am I supposed to know how to spell her name from listening to the radio? :p

2) Totally off-topic, and mostly for Dan: Shana Hiatt is hosting the Nat'l Heads-Up Poker Tournament on NBC right now!! Must See TV!!

Well I must say that I left home (on Friday) around the 7th inning when I believe the score was 6-2...or something like that. After reading Chuck's post I had to go look up Friday's scores because I didn't believe him! ;)

Tigers finally are on the good end of blowing 2 run leads.
White Sox bull pen throws smoke.

Cards win a battle today in Chicago, win the series.

With 2 outs. . .

Manny
Drew
Lowell
Tek

First time in Red Sox history.

And they're still only up by one. :)

Don't you get the NY Sunday papers? Actually, I believe I read a story on her being a cancer survivor a couple of years ago or I wouldn't have known it was Suzyn.
