The replays on SportsCenter are backing my opinion that this was a missed travel. They are even putting number graphics on the screen for the steps. It is rather blatant.

I agree, Nevada. I would have loved to have seen their coach after this call. He might have been more upset than John Brady after that charge call.

ok allow me this

We don't get this opportunity much this year in Wyoming.....Wake is doing well in the ACC tourney.....Air Force beat Wake early this year, Wyoming just beat Air Force in the MWC tourney....Send Wyoming to the NCAAs wooooo hoooooo LOL...ok I will come back down to earth now...

But in another doesn't happen much out here...a kid from Wyoming is Verbally committed to Wake for next season. Rumor has it that they are sending a highlight from last weekends regional tournament to ESPN, he had a between the legs dunk...haven't seen it but I guess it was impressive...

I never questioned your opinion regarding the travel. You implied it was the reason they lost the game and lost any chance of getting to the tournament. But, if I'm up by two with seconds to play, I sureasheck ain't letting a little guard take the ball from one end to the other, without any kind of contact and just lay it in. This was the bad decision made and this, IMO, was the reason WV lost and will play in the NIT.

The WAC gets two teams in the NCAA tourney.

Nevada just lost to Utah State 79-77 in the semifinals.

How about that second half comeback by NC State?

They have to get some serious consideration from the committee now.

With Atsur back, they certainly are doing better. They could certainly be a force to contend with. In fact, looking at the bracket right now, I think we could very well get a UNC v. NC State rematch in the finals.

My boys for Wake aren't doing to tell right now.

NV, they're 16-14. Sorry but they have to win to get in.

Oh yeah, i definitely agree they have to win the tournament to get in. Then again, the way they're playing right now, it might not really be a long shot.

Didn't A&M have a similar record last year and get in? I'll have to look it up. Speaking of A&M, they went down to OK State 57-56!

...and Baylor is crushing Texas right now!!!

Which teams have the biggest gripe?

"West Virginia fans will forever lament the uncalled travel on Edgar Sosa at the end of regulation in the double-OT loss to Louisville that sent the Mountaineers to the NIT."

The WV fans really ought to be lamenting over the fact that Sosa went by all Mountaineer players without a touch to tie the game with a layup.

Hopefully they won't make the same mistake in the NIT.

Gollygee, Nevada, I sureasheck gotta apologize to you now. If someone from ESP-FREAKING-N said that a player traveled, well it certainly has to be true. I mean, ESP-FREAKING-N is noted world-wide as being the leading expert extant when it comes to basketball rules. I know that the NCAA always goes to ESP-FREAKING-N when they want a rules interpretation or something rules-related cleared up. And when that other noted officiating body, the West Virginia Fans, also agrees with ESP-FREAKING-N, well, there's really NO doubt that Sosa musta traveled.

Again, please accept my apologies for ever doubting ESPN, the WV fans and you. I mean, what could be more credible than the three of you?
