In the ACC, three games - three upsets, based on seeding.

11 seconds left, Duke inbounds the ball, dribbles to half court, the clock starts late.

Officials stop the clock, RESET theclock, and GO BACK to the endline.

IOW, a DO OVER!

If MTD was watching, I'm sure he had a stroke!!

What did I miss? The paramedics just took the oxygen mask off me.

I guess the NCAAM are going to have to put out a bulletin similar to the NCAAW that specifies "no do-overs."

Is is becoming apparent to anyone else that Duke just isn't that good this year and doesn't deserve an NCAA at-large berth? They will probably get in anyway due to their past and the name on the jersey.

At this rate, I'm picking Wake to win the ACC Tournament. I may be correcting myself in an hour or so though.

In my opinion, Sosa clearly traveled before scoring the tying basket at the end of regulation. Since WV loses the game, and could miss out on the NCAA tournament due to their loss, it turns out that this was a huge decision.

St. Louis over UMass in OT 74-71. Someone else on the bubble is very happy.

Hmmm, travel or not, I don't think you let someone go coast to coast uncontested. Bad "D" costs WV the game, IMO.

Well they did double-team and trap him making him pick up his dribble at the FT line. If he is then allowed to take three steps to get out of that, I don't see that as the fault of the defense.

I see that USC is still wearing their illegal, black memorial patch with the number 12 on it in the PAC-10 tournament game against Stanford.

The replays on SportsCenter are backing my opinion that this was a missed travel. They are even putting number graphics on the screen for the steps. It is rather blatant.

I may be wrong, but I believe what happened is that the clock started before the throw-in ended and then the clock stopped when Duke player started dribbling.

No mention about numbers in the rule:
NCAA Rule 3-5 Art. 7. A commemorative/memorial patch, flag or ribbon is permitted within the 4-inch side insert of the game jersey, anywhere on the game pants, anywhere on warm-up suits and within the area of the game jersey between the base of the front neckline and the shoulder seam of the jersey. When the commemorative/memorial patch or ribbon is on the shoulder strap of the game jersey, it shall be sewn on or attached with Velcro.
