Newbie question...

A1 is shooting a three. B1 fouls A2 under the basket, unrelated to the shot. The shot goes in. How many free throws are rewarded to team A? High school rules apply. Thanks in advance for any help.

Is team A in the bounus? double bounus? If not - no FT's and would get the ball oob under the basket.

If B fouls they get the ball back? Not in my game. I'd love to see you site a rule for that one . . .

OK, my faith is restored in you - that's basically what I said.

You did not say who got the ball back. That is what I wanted to clarify.

Peace

Guess I assumed since A shot the ball and I said "they" get the ball back - that meant A . . . I should have been more clear, sorry.

I just wanted to clarify because some people know about the POI and think it applies when it does not. No big deal that is what we do here.

Peace

Or perhaps he could go looking for a rule and sight it.
But it would be best to cite the rule for you and you could reward him with a citation.
