Intentional at end of quarter.......
Team A going in for layup & makes the basket & is fouled intentionally.. . quarter runs out immediately after foul. Count basket & 2 shots with cleared lane. Now what about possession arrow to start next quarter? If the arrow is pointing to Team B does Team A keep possession because of the intentional foul? Or does Team A get the ball to start the quarter?

Two fundamental issues here.
When does a quarter end? Does a penalty from the previous quarter carry over to the next quarter? zebra44, what do you think?

I'm thinking the quarter ends with the second free throw, and the next quarter starts anew with an inbound by whoever has the arrow.......
