I used to not believe this, but I have in the last few years changed my mind. I think Goaltending and Basket Interference are by far the most difficult calls. The reason they are so difficult is they do not happen very often. They often catch you off guard. Depending on your angle you may not get the call right or do not see the play very well. Even when you work many varsity games you might go a season and not have one of these calls. Block/Charge calls happen much more often and if you referee the defense these calls can be so easy to make. They also do not catch you completely off guard.
