Tough Situation #1
Same game. Very high level boys varsity. I am trail opposite table. A1 beats his primary defender, B1 and here comes B2 looking to establish position for a charge call on A1. As I pick up B2 to see if he gets there in time, I possibly missed B1 with a hand in A1's back. Collison and I have an offensive foul as I got a great look at B2. I was a comfortable distance from the play but still had trouble officiating both the back as well as the front sides. In playing the play back in my mind, I dont think I would have got a good look at B2 if I stayed with B1. Help!

I'm having trouble picturing this above the arc, but if it's as you say, I wouldn't be worried about B1. If he already had a hand in the back before the play, you should probably have called it then.
But by the way, where was your partner? |
