wayman tisdale plays jazz?

have any of you ever heard of wayman tisdale before? he used to play in the nba, but now he plays jazz bass. my co-worker at umg gave me the cd, and i really like it. i was just spreading the word, and wondering if anybody else had heard about him. let me know.

Tisdale was putting out music way back when he was still playing in the NBA. He always received great reviews from music critics. He had a jazz club in downtown Phoenix. Don't know if that is still in existence.
