Brian,
I must be fortunate because where I am at we have a strong state commissioner and the state assigns the schools to the associations. Maybe they were just trying to get ahead start on this POE since we manage to ignore rough post play for the last 10 years.

If you have that authority figure in your area great! It should happen in more places, but it doesn't. I think it would help the HS game. But you know the usual excuses , money, time, etc.
I am afraid the inmates run the show more often than not.
