Grey shirts

Does anyone know if the grey shirts will be optional for next season? It was being considered by NFHS to be optional by state and would have to be adopted be each state individually.

As Bob said, the gray shirts were not adopted as an option for individual states. But that really is irrelevant. Each state can adopt whatever rules they want, as you can see by the number of states that implement the shot clock for HS games.

If you really want it, send a letter to your state's athletic governing body and maybe they'll tell you it's ok to use. Not worth the trouble IMO, but you could certainly give it a try.

Although I like the gray shirts here is one downfall. I have different shirts for:

College
Juco
Pro-Am
IAABO board
IAABO board
Private organization

It is ridiculous. It should really be one shirt for the Pro-Am and everything else should wear the same.

The question was asked on the NFHS survey I took this year. This was my first year taking it so I'm not sure if it's been asked before.
