Thanks alot Chuck. I was starting to get the hang of rocky's memory-blocking techniques down, but you gotta go and ruin it.

Umm...ok, I'm fine now.

Btw, anyone notice the Mets "milestone" homeruns? Julio Franco is the oldest player to ever hit a home run (isn't he eligible for Medicare?), and Kaz Matsui getting a home run in his first at-bat of the season, in his third straight season.

And I'm ready for the big money myself. At this point in the season, Mr. M&M Guy has as many home runs as Barry Bonds and Manny Ramirez combined. And, I can guarantee I'll be on the DL less than Prior or Wood...

...oh, no, (snif...) here comes those feelings again...

Ok M&M, say it with me..."There's no place like home, there's no place like home"...oops, wait a minute - that's not it.

OK, try again, say it with me "There's no need to fear, Underdog is here"...oops, that's not right either...

Dang - I've used those memory blocking techniques so many times (Seahawks, Mariners, Sonics) that I can't seem to remember the code words...this is not good.

Manny finally hits his first home run (runs) of the season, Ortiz hits one too, and Timlin can't hold the lead. Ggggrrrrrrrrr!!!

Mariners are on a roll...won two in a row! Took two of three from the White Sox...only 2.5 games out of first in the division!

Gotta celebrate these little milestones, you know.

I just got home from vacation yesterday and checked the standings. I can't believe the Sox are tied for first. Seemed like they were losing every night. They're 3-7 in their last 10, the Yankees are 7-3 in their last 10, and it's tied up. Good news, bad news. We're playing like crap, but we're still tied.

I'm not. My mother-in-law will. Can't tell with my daughter.

I thought Schill's comments were pretty much on target: "The Red Sox put a value on Johnny. The Yankees put a higher value on him. He went for the money. And I understand that. That's the business."

I'm gonna miss him, but I'm not gonna bash him.

Hey, I got my info from espn.com. You don't like it, take it up with them. They not only showed them as tied, but listed the Sox first, based (I'm guessing) on having more wins.

ESPN? You're using ESPN as a basis for anything?

All MLB standings are based on "Winning Percentage" only. Been that way forever.

Here's the OFFICIAL standings from the Major League Baseball website:
