A simple way of keeping a jacket (the zippered Sahara-type jacket) clean and neat is to always fold and store it inside out.

When I take it off during introductions at the table, it's removed so that it's inside out. I zipper it and fold it like that. No lint, hair, dirt, etc., gets on the outside of the jacket.

To be honest, I rarely wash the jacket as it makes the outside fade. Of course, I only wear it for about 30 minutes prior to each game and never put it back on until before my next game.
