I saw this story in the newspaper and thought you guys might find this interesting. It's about a ref in a wheelchair that refs regular middle school, freshman and JV games.

wheelchair bound referee

Do any leagues have any rules/physical requirements which would prevent this gentleman from advancing (assuming he is a good referee)?

How cool!!!!!!!
My first thought was the safety factor of having the metal chair on the floor. I also wonder if he has special wheels without spokes as that could be an issue. Seems that others must have looked at all the safety issues and he still works games.......good for him! I'd pay to get in and see him work.
