I was thinking the same thing. Just because you Teed someone or ejected someone doesn't mean you didn't do a good job at handling the coaches.
I know this intellectually. But it still doesn't feel good emotionally.
Name that tune:

Nobody feels any pain
Tonight as I stand inside the rain
Ev'rybody knows
That Baby's got new clothes
But lately I see her ribbons and her bows
Have fallen from her curls.
Sting?
Bob Dylan is Sting?

I didn't know that.

LOL...yeah...I just took a wild guess, as if rainmaker might have had lingering "sting"ing sensations from her T's.

But, now I get what Dan was saying after I went to the site you displayed JR...thanks...LOL.

(I'll admit it...I'm as shallow as Damon)

Well, I knew it wasnt Rossini, or Mozart. Nor was it Charles Wesley nor Fanny Crosby. So I didn't even try.

Another thing I realized this afternoon is that it's getting on toward "that time" of the season when coaches are getting grouchy. I remember this from last year. I think next year I'll write a note into my date book so that I can see it coming, and won't be taken by surprise.

Hmmmm - maybe we could get someone to slip a little prozac in their water bottles...

Where were the games Juulie? Sounds like you had a lot more fun than we did at DDHS last night. Of course then there was the Canby tournament today - we had two player ejections and three intentional fouls, and that was in only the 1st game. Fortunately the 2nd went much better.........

Wow, I'm glad I stayed home and watched the Seahawks win.

My games were St. Mary's/Barlow, all three T's on St. Mary's. Two on the freshman coach, one on JV. I'm over it by now. Life is too short to let some loud mouth ruin my weekend. Besides I had a blast working 6th and 7th grade girls yesterday in the T..(Tigard)..BA. Their board has really cracked down on yelling at the refs, and the games are a blast. The girls are just so cute!

I also notice the same thing every year. Both coaches and players take on a different attitude than they start with at the beginning of the season. Its not only the teams fighting for the play-off positions, its also the 1-11 teams trying to get just one more win. Unfortunately this occures when lots of officials are getting a little worn down too. Our commissioner usually instructs us to excercise as much compassion as possible during this time of year. (also good advice for husbands and boy friends)

And at this time of the year those (fans, players and coaches) that are not particularily detailed with the exact rules of the game seem to be refreshed in their inaccurate knowledge and express it even louder.

I wonder how long it takes them in baseball season to get their strike zone tuned in? Beware Umpire - their yours in about another month!
