when contact occured, his feet were not on or in the circle. I think the real quesiton is were where his feet when Billips left the ground? From what I can see his heel may still be touching the circle when Billips jumps but it is hard to tell. The other thing I notice is that when Billips leaves the ground Horry's legs are very wide well past shoulder width apart. To me that is not LGP. I agree when contact occurs he has moved his foot under himself but that is too late. So with 20/20 hindsight I think it is a block on two counts. The circle and the too wide stance. Having said that I could easily see it being called a charge given that he took it in the chest. I very difficult call but one I think that they got right. Also given that so many were being called blocks. JMHO. |
