Along with the things that have already been mentioned, my podiatrist gave me a cortisone shot in my heel. That helped tremendously

Yes.

There's nothing in your body that would be affected by a magnetic field. (Unless, of course, you have metal implants - then you shouldn't be near magnets in the first place!)

As I understand it the theory is red blood cells (which carry lots of iron) collect near the magnetic field and supply O2 and other goodies and remove the bad stuff.

Or maybe it's something to do with the Druids, I dunno.

This fellow had a date with a seductive young lady and was very
nervous about being with her. They went into the bedroom and
agreed to remove clothes one piece at a time. The man first took off
his socks and the girl remarked about how ugly his toes were. He told
her, "When I was a little boy, I had Toemaine poisoning and this is
what happened to my toes."

They continued to undress and the man pulled off his pants to which
the woman remarked how knobby and ugly his knees were. The man
explained, "When I was a young boy, I had a bad case of the Kneesles
and this is what happened to my knees."

The man finally took his briefs and before he could say anything, she
looked him straight in the eye and said, "Don't tell me, you had
Smallcocks when you were a little boy, too!"

I think the Druid theory is a bit more plausible.

Sorry for the late reply, but just ran into this thread.

I finally found the cure for p.f. Over 2 years, I had two 6-week sessions of physical therapy for p.f. that didn't do much. Then I had two 6-week sessions of ultrasound and foot massage (which should be illegal, it feels sooooooooo good), but I digress. One day I was in the drug store buying something else and came across a pedi-cure arch support band. It was about 5 bucks or something so I bought one. Put it on when I got home and by the next day my years of pain ended. Wore it every game the rest of the season and most games (especially cold ones) the next football season. That was 2 years ago and I still keep it in the bag, but don't have to wear it any more. I spent a few thousand - then cured it with a 5 buck lark. My physical therapist (our local sports medicine trainer) will never hear the end of it.
