Just a guess, but I bet Billy HATED the 'picket fence' play in HOOSIERS.

Hmmmmm, trying to figure out which set of rules to apply to this problem: Fed, NCAA-M, NCAA-W...?? Although I'm sure if it deals with Packer, he'll just make up the rules as he wants.

Juulie - HOA stands for Home Owners Association. What you don't want is to have Crack HOA's in your neighborhood.

Or - maybe you do.

The HOA is the association that charges you a monthly fee to tell you that anything you propose to do to your property cannot be done. I live in a gated "active adult community" (one spouse has to be 55 or older), and we call our HOA the "Power Mongers". It is sometimes truly amazing what a little bit of power will do to some people. While the HOA does do some good things, they seem to have their head up their *** a lot of the time.

HOA board members think they are the Mayor of the subdivision. They like to stick their nose where it doesn't belong. I guess they do some good things to like send people notices to move their broke down cars. They make sure somebody doesn't paint their house a funky color and most importantly, they get to review the bids and decide who gets to landscape the common ground areas. These folks have some serious power.

So my rundown house in a poor neighborhood where I'm lucky if the garbage man does his job once a week isn't so bad, after all?

Juulie - don't you mean "garbage person"?

BTW - I am President of our HOA. Big surprise, huh?
