reset shot clock?

Interesting here in VA there is no shot clock for either girls or boys.

Not true. The shot clock is used on the girls' side of the ISL. I know, I had 6 games in this league this past season.

Yes, but in the VHSL or AAU, YBOA, no shot clock is used. I haven't done ISL, so I wouldn't know...

The same applies for WCAC boys and girls games in VA (Bishop Ireton, Bishop O'Connell, and Paul VI), as well as for IAC and MAC teams located in Virginia. Richmond Prep teams will also use the shot clock starting in the 2019-20 season. The VHSL may follow suit in the next few years.

Do you have a link or source for that Richmond Prep statement?

I have worked high school basketball in Richmond for the last 6 years and I haven't heard of anything like that coming.

Here is a link to an article about the Prep League shot clock on the Richmond Times-Dispatch website, which appears on the Prep League Sports – Virginia Preparatory League website. It's buried in the 5th paragraph of this article. This is private school basketball, so if you work mostly public school ball, you may not have heard about it. I was also surprised to see this on the internet, because I just randomly Googled "VHSL shot clock" to see if there was interest in Virginia for adopting a shot clock.
