I been practicing my visual count lately, using my watch I set the timer to 10 seconds. The 10 second alarm goes off before I even get to 8. So I adjusted the speed to my swing to get 10 swings in 10 seconds and it seemed like my arm was going too fast. Any ideas? Have any of you guys timed your counts?

A while ago somebody suggested practicing in front of your microwave. That way you can see the time as you count.
I tried it. It worked pretty well. But if you practice too long, you burn your popcorn ![]()

You may be using too much of you arm ( going from chest all the way out) Try starting out away from your body ( like a 90 degreee) and then go out... it will look good and you wont be swinging too fast or wide

Visual Count? Does that mean that you are counting with your eyes instead of a visible count with your hands?

I got my count a little faster when I I started watching my watch. Then I got into a game and I noticed that when I was really getting into it that my timing would get even faster. So you have to be careful on how excited you get too. You don't want 5 seconds to be 4.5. Get a video as soon as you can.
