We tried 2 man for freshman, they stay and a 3rd joins them to 3 man the JV and he stays and 2 new officials join him for the varsity game. Now it's 3 man for varsity only. Idea is to get as many as possible time with 3 man. Our smaller schools also are more supportive than the large ones.
