Just don't call me BUBBA.

BTW - I thought you were going to call me regarding that "freaking" coach.

Since you have a learning attitude and I'll add two things just to prepare you for those unusual situations:
1. if you are shooting three free throws and the ball lodges or comes to rest on the flange on the second attempt, you just go on to the third.
2. if you are shooting a T or an intentional foul, or something which is going to be followed by a throw-in, and the ball lodges or comes to rest on the final attempt, you simply proceed to the throw-in as you would have.
The rule quoted by JR below is written such that these situations are covered.

Thanks for the follow up but I don't see why I have a learning attitude?

Today it was just a little deal, and no offense taken, and I hope none given. However, if I was too nasty, I apologize.
No need to apologize you were fine. I definitely didn't take offense to it.

FYI - This is my first time posting but I've been reading & learning alot from you guys (and girls). The best thing about this forum is situations like these that hardly every happen but if they do I am now prepared for them.
seems pretty straight-forward to me. What did I miss?

cford, it's a good thing. He means it sounds like you're willing to listen and learn. Welcome to the forum, btw.
