Another "MANNY MOMEMT"(tm) yesterday, Chuck? Howinthehell can you forget how many outs there are in the TOP of the FIRST inning? I mean ONE out in the FIRST freaking inning?

Btw, methinks it's time to break up the Detroit Lions!

Hey, at least the Pats didnt get hosed by a quick whistle like the Bengals did....

2nd Q, under 2 min.

Pennington drops to pass. One of the RBs who stayed in to block bumps the ball from his hand just before he tries to throw it. FUMBLE....Bengals recover. Automatic review under 2 min...Referee announces that while there WAS a fumble, there was ALSO a whisltle before it was recovered so the Jets get the ball at the spot of the fumble.

HEH?!?!?

What a dynasty!
...One in a row!

[BTW yourself: Charles Rogers started the breakup with the same collar bone that kept him out last year.]

Chuck picked 14/15 NFL games.

With luck they'll find him "not guilty" this time around.

Are you kidding? The jury will take one look at Chuck and they'll be calling OJ and saying "You can quit looking, Juice. We found him for ya!"

You're so-o-o-o-o funny, Junior Barnes. You gunkie!

I'm gonna be sitting in the center field bleachers in Yankee Stadium on Saturday when my Sox take over first place in the division; and all you, ahem, gentlemen will be singing a very different, very sad song!!!

If you just jinxed us, Chuck, I'm going to be quite irate with you.

I may even have to darn you to heck!

Be sure to wear your BoSox finery when you're loudly cheering them on. That should be interesting.

Got your will made out?

Be honest. Did you really think that it would even get this close?

Hardly!! My point was that they're full of hot air, b/c they're still operating under the assumption that it's all locked up. Once you eliminate that assumption, and realize that the Sox actually have the better pitching staff for once, my scenario of a first-place team in Boston on Saturday night is not so far-fetched.

Other likely scenarios, courtesy of Ivan.
