The point is, we harp on coaches for asking us to call 'reaching in' and 'over the back.' Then we come up with an unofficial mechanic, flipping the wrist and call out 'carry!' I make an effort to keep my calls and mechanics within the limits of the rulebook. If a coach asks for clarification, I'll tell him he palmed it or carried it, but until they create a new mechanic, I've got an illegal dribble.
