Player A1 asks the official in the back court "Didn't you see that?!?!" while live ball is still occuring in the front court from a fast break as player B1 is four dribbles away from making a lay up.
Does the official stop the clock immediately and issue player A1 an unsportsmanlike technical foul and disallows player B1 from making the lay up or allow player B1 to score first, stop the clock, then issue the unsportsmanlike technical foul? thanks in advance |

If it's me, I wait for B to finish it's fast break and than issue the T. No point in penalizing B for A's indiscretion.
Of course he'd need to say more than "Didn't you see that?!?!" to draw a T from me, but I'll assume that in your situation the T is warranted. Grail |

Z, I'm sure there is more to it then what was stated. (?!?!)
I can see this resulting is a T. Sometimes it not just the words. i.e. previous actions throughout the game, facial expressions, the tone the words were spoken, etc.
