A few (i.e., Mark T. DeNucci, Sr.) offered suggestions as to exactly what to call these eight (originally four) spots to differentiate them from "ordinary" (out of bound throwins) designated spots.

It may have been me who first suggested "magic spots" (after the song Magic Bus, The Who, 1968) and it has since been used by others on this Forum.

I actually like SNIPERBBB's suggesttion of "marked spots".

I need to quickly find an envelope and a stamp to beat SNIPERBBB to the copyright.
