I was curious what the signal would look like, and it appears they copied the NCAA-M two-handed signal instead of FIBA's one-handed one.

Do we know what the protocol will be to report the initial flop warning? Do we stop play right away, or do we wait to report it at the next dead ball?

NFHS can follow the women's college protocol, or they might choose to follow the old men's protocol of stopping the game immediately after the play the flop happened on ends. We will have to wait until the new rulebook is officially published to find out.
We''ll have to wait and see.

No, we do not, at least from the NF point of view. I live in a state that has a procedure that I think is totally stupid (and I will tell them how stupid) to wait for a dead ball. That is not the NCAA procedure, but some never officiate and try to come up with things that make no sense.

Peace
