Didn’t say that they could, my question concerns calling that a PC in the first place. We seem to have several official who believe that this play was called correctly.

Yeah, I've never agreed with calling a player control foul when all the contact is from the ball.

Is this really a one in a million event? I've had a least two of these in forty-three years.

How long do we wait?

How long? You tell us because there's nothing in the rulebook or a manual that tells us.

Hopefully we deem the ball dead before a player "helps us out" by getting the ball down.

27 seconds left in the game.
Is there a violation by the FT shooter?

Don't have the skills or software to clip, but from seeing the play he looks legal.

Let’s put all requests for video clips from the tournament in this thread to make it as simple as possible for our video guys.

I’ll start with the first one.
Duke v Oral Roberts 13:00 remaining in the first half. After the steal by Duke did a very unusual backcourt violation occur?

The pass from A1 hits A2 while he still has BC status.

Can someone please post (or describe) the interaction on the CBS broadcast late in the MSU/USC game...there were several shots of Roger Ayers, and it looked like he was talking with the announcers. I was watching the game without any sound or captioning and was curious.

Monitor review for OOB call.

8:27 second half. Charge called on Duke player drive to basket. Discussion of the legality of this play.

Peace

Defender was moving laterally and giving ground, A1 initiates and goes through him.

Earlier in the possession there should have been a block/trip call on the Tennessee big man when he stepped out on the ballhandler.

Michigan St. vs Marquette. Approximately 8:25-8:20 remaining in 1st half. Marquette defender deflects ball and it passes through the ring from below, and passes through the ring again from above. Play was stopped and Marquette was given possession. Why?

It's a violation to cause the ball to go through the ring from below.

Correct. Wondering why the ball was given to Marquette, unless it was simply that the official thought it was last touched by a Michigan State player…

I'll pull up the play later today and see what I can figure out from the broadcast.

If I recall correctly, it was definitely deflected up by MSU's Sissoko
