From NFHS rule 5-6-2 exception #3: ”...No free throw(s) must be attempted after time has expired for the fourth quarter or any extra period, unless the point(s) would affect the outcome of the game.“

And the accompanying case book ruling 5.6.2 SITUATION E:

”A1 has been awarded two free throws after time has expired in the fourth quarter. Team B leads 62 to 60 and A1 misses the first free throw.

RULING: The second free throw will not be attempted. (5-6-2 EXCEPTION 3)”
