Remember, one will be rewarded handsomely.

You might want to take the more direct approach so we veterans don't get confused about your intent and the youngins realize what you're doing.

As the young'uns say, "My bad".

I really believed that someone would take the bait.

Here are two more "rare exception" situations:

A player must be holding the ball (with rare exception) in order to travel.

A player who has been replaced, or directed to leave the game, shall not reenter (with rare exception) before the next opportunity to substitute after the clock has been started properly following his, or her, replacement.

Player on the ground, sets ball down, etc...

Blood? T?

Correct.

4.44.5 SITUATION B: A1 dives for a loose ball and slides after gaining control. A1 is in a position either on his/her back or stomach. What can A1 do without violating? RULING: It is ... traveling if A1 puts the ball on the floor, then rises and is first to touch the ball. (4-44-5b)

And here's your handsome prize, BillyMac on the cover of People magazine:

Close. Can you be more specific?

Thanks for playing.

Playing with 5, if available, trumps the "sit a tick" rule.

We have another winner.

Casebook Play 8.2 SITUATION B: A1 is fouled and will be shooting two free throws. After A1’s first free-throw attempt, B6 (Team B’s only remaining eligible substitute) replaces B2. A1’s second free-throw attempt is unsuccessful. During rebounding action for A1’s missed second free-throw attempt, and before the clock starts, A1 pushes B3 in the back causing B3 to roll an ankle. Team B is in the bonus. B3 is unable to immediately continue playing. Team B requests and is granted a time out in order to allow B3 to recover from the ankle injury so as to remain in the game. B3 is still not able to play after the time out has ended. RULING: B2 may return to the game and replace B3 and shoot B3’s free throw attempts despite having been replaced since he/she is the only available substitute. (3-3-4)

Since I already gave way the handsome reward of my photo on the cover of People magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" issue, here's your handsome reward, a vintage Sports Illustrated magazine cover of Handsome Dan, the Yale bulldog mascot.

Enjoy your handsome reward and thanks for playing.
