RefHQ - Rules Quizzing App

I wanted to share a tool my team and I have been working on! It is called RefHQ, and is a mobile app designed to help basketball referees learn, study and master basketball rules.

The app has >550 multiple choice and True/False questions written to key in on the details of the rulebook and casebook, with more questions added each month. Users can specifically study one of the 11 rules at a time, shuffle all questions, or choose a category such as the 2019-2020 Rule Changes.

The app is currently supported on iOS, and released for the NCAA-M ruleset. Android support, as well as support for other rulesets, will be coming in the future.

Thank you for sharing this looks good. Should just mention it is free for 7 days then then $3.99/month thereafter.

Thanks for the feedback! We plan to expand to NFHS and NCAA-W rules support in the future.

I would definitely use if there was an Android version. I use PCs and have a Samsung smartphone running Android.

NBA and FIBA would also be awesome to see after the Android version emerges.

A couple updates:
- Today, we released a quiz question category for NFHS vs. NCAA-M rules differences (about 70 questions as of now)
- The Android version is in progress and should be available in October
- NCAA-W, NFHS, NBA and FIBA support is further out, but in the works

FYI - the app is now also available on Android! Google Play Store link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...=com.refhq.app

To those who have expressed interest, thanks for your patience.

Best of luck as scrimmage season tips off!

The problem with the audio book is that it stops playing whenever my screen goes to sleep. I have to change my settings in order to keep it playing. It also doesn't let me run the app in the background. Can this be fixed?

That is on our radar, and we're working on it. It would definitely be better to be able to navigate out of the app and keep listening. Thanks for the feedback!
