NCAA-M Shot clock reset in the backcourt.
A1 is dribbling in the backcourt and makes a pass to A2 in the backcourt. B2 intentionally kicks the ball. The shot clock reads 25. Does it stay at 25 or does it reset to 30? 2-11.6 and 2-11.7 is the rule. The exception under Art. 6 b.3 makes it convoluted.

Rule change (or clarification) for this season is that the shot clock does not reset.
They forgot to account for this situation (kick ball in BC) when they made the original rule change. The 10-second BC count does reset, that hasn't changed. 2-11-6f & g should be under Article 2-11-8, I don't know why there is any redundancy. The exception you cite is basically rule 2-11-8.
