Texas Tech v Florida
about 29 seconds to go, the nice split of the D and then the alley opp dunk for the Red Raiders. On that play there could have been a block call on the pass but best it was ignored.
Say on a situation like that, say there is a whistle for the block. Is the play dead right then? I'm assuming so but what if the teammate had caught the ball and was in the act of shooting/dunking at the same time as the whistle? I think I recall an NBA play like this when the bucket counted and there was the foul off as well. NCAA and NFHS different? |
