Yeah, I was watching it and was laughing at Staley's "shocked" reaction to the second T...play silly games, win silly prizes.

I did not record the game. I did not see any replay of the game to show the play.

Peace

We dont have the best look at that play.

If we have the number one player I am pretty sure I could see some teams sending someone to hurt her. She hit her so hard she came out of the game.

Just my opinion with a bad video. I have no idea if there were any hints to some physical play targeted at her or not.

I dont think any of us can say with 100% surety that was an accident or sending a message....

WatchESPN has a replay if you have access to that.

Staley went into the game with a chip on her shoulder. She was upset that two of the officials worked the same matchup last year. She texted Sally Bell about the “issue,” who was supposed to do exactly what about it?

I have access to the video, but capturing it is a different story.

I saw the video of both situations. Coach Dawn Staley was being very childish. I get things are not going your way, but she was being very childish with how she handles things. For one the play where she seemed to get upset was a foul. Her top player had a charge right before where it was clearly a foul on her for driving her shoulder into the defender. Then in the press conference, she complained that "No other player that was a candidate for the best player of the year played less in the first half" or something to that nature. She really acted silly in the press conference as if the officials are supposed to care who is playing the damn game. This is exactly why in a previous thread I had no issue with what Teddy did because this behavior or entitlement is again silly. Who gives a rat's ass who her player is or who she thinks should be treating her a certain way. Missouri was kicking their behind and if she coached instead of pouted, she might have won the game.

Peace

Interesting to note the rules difference with respect to T #2. NFHS/NCAA-W this is a direct T with no warning. NCAA-M you get one warning and then it’s a Class B.
