Double Foul
NFHS rules. Player 21 on A shoots a shot. The ball has clearly left his hands and is in the air when U2 from lead calls a double foul on A22 and B14. If the shot goes in does it count or is the ball dead when lead blew his whistle for the Double foul.

Yup, and then you go point of interruption. So if the shot was made, POI is a non-designated spot throw in for B. If it wasn't, then you go to the arrow since there was no team control when the double foul occurred.

But, what if A1 has started the try, but the ball hasn't left his hands? one rule says "if the offense fouls, the ball is dead." Another rule says," if the defense fouls, allow continuous motion." Which takes precedence? We had a long, long discussion on this a while ago, but I don't remember the answer. |

This is directly addressed in Rule 6. Rule 6 defines how a ball becomes live and how the ball becomes dead. More importantly for your situation, it lists the EXCEPTIONS to when the official's whistle causes the ball to become dead. Couldn't hurt to review those exceptions.
