One of the camps I attend pulls your picture off Arbiter (presuming you have one) and prints it on your evaluation sheets, which they give to you when you check-in. When you work a game, you simply hand the clinician at the court your sheet ... it's got your name and picture right on it.
If they can't get your picture off Arbiter, you're emailed prior to camp and asked to send them one.

The clinicians learn the names of the campers they're watching that game before the game starts?

I did the stickers once and found them much easier to deal with, though I experienced the "sweat failure" on the shirt late in the camp. I would agree....go with the shorts if you can.
Best company if you're looking for stock is "Gill." Primarily a track-and-field supplier, they are used to making good adhesive stickers that stick nicely to nylon/polyester running shorts. Works just as well at basketball camps. If you do have to go with pin-on numbers, you'll want something that's plastic-coated, kind of like a road race bib number. Otherwise it will most certainly "sweat fail" after a game or two. |

Yep. "Let me get your names before you go on the court"
