Had no problem with it, he pulled his feet almost to the rim, no one around

Once when the Yankee's Lou Pinella was batting he questioned a Palermo strike call. Pinella demanded, "Where was that pitch at?" Palermo told him that a man wearing Yankee pinstripes in front of 30,000 people should not end a sentence with a preposition. So Pinella, no dummy, said, "OK, where was that pitch at, a**hole?"

I agree with the call, but have to wonder why the C didn't get it.

Why shouldn't the Lead have first crack?

Maryland vs. Kansas (South Region Semi)

How about the one on Maryland with 9:33 in the first?

It was close. Not sure I would have called it. However, worth a discussion. Also, plays like these make me glad that Class B's are only one FT now.

I agreed with the Baylor call. But not this one.

Maryland game.

They had to call that since they missed the double dribble

It's a correct call IMO since no one was underneath him and he did an extra swing that wasn't necessary.

It seemed like the extra swing was done solely for the purpose of him coming off the rim with his momentum going back down the floor.

I've gone back and forth on this. In the end...it looks like he added a little extra sauce at the end so I think I'm OK with it. Agree the C shoulda grabbed it though.

This brings up a point that is often discussed in our pre-games...a certain high level vet in our association likes to add something along the lines of "If ya see one out of your primary that grabs ya by the balls, go get it". Maybe this one grabbed the L.

No reason the L can't get this.

I don't see why this is not the leads Primary in the first place. He's right there to see if any opponents are causing danger.

I don't disagree. If he chins up a bit, though, I could see him missing it while looking at bodies for contact, etc.
