I will say that if there is something like this and I'm the official, I'm going to want to figure out what it was about. Especially at the JV level, in my experience, if someone is claiming something is wrong it probably is. I wonder why the officials didn't take 30 seconds to go to the table and confirm whether or not the fouls were correct.

It sounds like at a minimum, there was a discrepancy between the home/official and guest books. So its worth checking, even if you don't have any knowledge to change and stick with the home book.
