Free Throw

Ball comes to rest on flange or lodges between rim and backboard on last free throw. What is the rule? (highschool)

If there are more FT's to shoot after then they get to shoot those. If there aren't then it's an AP throw in.

Team with arrow gets AP throw-in.

When and why would those EVER go to the AP arrow???? After FT's for those are wrapped up the offended team gets the ball back.

So the correct answer that covers all scenarios is that you go to POI.

And POI could be continuing the penalty for the foul (possibly another FT, throw-in at spot nearest the intentional foul, or throw-in at division line), or continuing to penalize further fouls (in a multiple foul situation), or an AP throw-in, or end of period, or ...
